Pada 24 maret, Kementrian Budaya, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata merilis sebuah lapiran investigasi oleh Professor Kim Min Kyu dari Aju University, yang merinci pekerjaan dalam dari agensi2 entertainment.

Dalam laporannya terungkap kalau rumah2 agensi entertainment memiliki rata2 100 trainees, yang 70 diantarany diusia belasan dan bahkan ada beberapa yang lulusan SD. Trainee2 itu di bimbing untuk rata2 14.57 bulan sebelum mereka ditaruh dalam sebuah grup potensial dan dibawah persiapan2 resmi untuk sebuah debut, jadi totalnya 16.30 bulan. Dan rata2 kontrak trainee berakhir selama 4.22 tahun dan kontrak untuk debut menjadi bintang rata2 7 tahun dalam persetujuan pada FTC.
Rata2 hari mereka dimulai sekitar jam 6:00 hingga 7:00 PM, saat mereka kembali dari sekolah, dan trainee sering pulang kerumah jam 10:00 or 11:00 PM. Meskipunn mereka tidak melaporkan peraturan2 atau  cara aturan yang mereka lihat sebagai 'tidak adil', trainee2 menyebutkan kalau mereka dituntut dari diet2 yang ketat.

Saat ditanya apakan mereka merasa kalau agensi2 mereka telah melanggar mengenai hak2 dan kehidupan pribadi mereka, trainee2 mengatakan tidak. Trainee yang mengaku itu untuk menjelaskan ini karena mereka mengerti mengapa ini dilakukan, dan berfikir ini adalah sesuatu kebutuhan untuk melalui dalam rangka menjadi seorang bintang.
Selebritis2 Remaja juga mengaku kehilangan 80% dari kelas2 mereka dan paling banyak tidak waspada sebelum mereka mengambil periode absen yang lama untuk promosi2 mereka.
Dalam respon mengenai laporan, sebuah perdebatan pada reformasi dan perubahan2 industri manajemen entertainment yang dilakukan di gedung SM Entertainment pada 25 maret jam 10:00 AM KST.
Perdebatan dihadiri oleh Kim Young Min (SM Entertainment CEO), Jung Wook (JYP Entertainment CEO), Yang Min Suk (YG Entertainment CEO), Hong Seung Sung (Cube Entertainment CEO), Ryu Shi Kwan (R's Company CEO), Hong Jong Gu (Vice-chairman of the Entertainment Management Association), An Jung Dae (President of the Entertainment Production Association), Lee Hyo Jung(President of the Broadcasting & Performance Association), Tae Jin Ah (President of the Singers' Association), dan banyak lagi.
