[News] Watanabe Mayu - AKB48 berperan sebagai guru berumur 38 tahun di drama seri terbaru “Saba-Doru”

Awal Januari 2012 ini, personil AKB48, Watanabe Mayu akan membintangi drama tengah malam di TV Tokyo. Ini akan menjadi drama pertama Watanabe dimana dia akan bermain sendirian tanpa teman-temannya di grup AKB48.



Dalam drama ini Watanabe menjadi wanita berumur 38 tahun, "Usa Shijimi", seorang guru sastra klasik di SMA yang diperlakukan buruk oleh para muridnya. Namun dia juga memiliki identitas lain. Di luar sekolah, dia berbohong tentang usianya dan menjadi idola super populer yang aktif yaitu "Watanabe Mayu" yang berumur 17 tahun, yang dipuja semua murid.

Judul drama ini merupakan kombinasi dari phrase "nenrei no sabawo yomu" (berbohong tentang usia seseorang) dan "aidoru" (idola).

Komentar Watanabe tentang perannya, "Berperan sebagai Shijimi yang berumur 38 tahun sangat sulit, tapi aku ingin memberikan yang terbaik," Dia melanjutkan, "Drama ini komedi yang hangat, jadi aku harap drama ini akan memberikan energi pada para penontonnya". Watanabe juga akan mengisi soundtrack untuk drama ini "Synchro Tokimeki" yang merupakan debut single solonya (direncanakan akan rilis 29 februari).

Ando Tamae, Sakata Tadashi, Kaminage Keisuke dan Takahashi Hitomi juga didaulat sebagai para pemain pendukung dalam drama ini.

Jadi bagi para penggemar Watanabe Mayu yang penasaran bagaimana akting gandanya sebagai seorang guru dan seorang idola, tunggu kehadirannya dalam drama terbaru, "Saba Doru" yang akan disiarkan setiap Jumat malam, jam 12.53 (waktu Jepang) di TV Tokyo, mulai 13 Januari. Yang direncanakan 12 episode.
